The shrub/forb layer is comprised of Mountain Laurel, Twisted Leaf Yucca, Sacshuista, Agarita, Flame Leaf Sumac, Green Briar, Wafer Ash, American Beautyberry, Texas Persimmon, Grapevine, Texas Redbud, and Frost Weed. The grass component is very diverse as well, including Little Bluestem, Silver Bluestem, KR Bluestem, Sideoats Grama, Inland Sea Oats, Bristle Grass, Switchgrass, and Lindheimers Muhly.

WATER
There is approximately 4,100 feet adjacent to Cow Creek, which has year-round flow of crystal-clear water. The creek bottom ranges from gravelly bars, to deep pools, to sections where the water weaves through giant blocks of limestone. The creek is owned by the neighboring White Water Springs POA.
Water wells in the immediate vicinity are in the 450-650ft range and produce an average of ten gallons per minute.
